That's why I will need usb or anything to start with, so I can download and install complementary drivers for windows7 Last time i created the virtualbox/win7 partition inside an NTFS partition, but I wasn't able to access that partition from windows7 It might be because windows7 doesnt have suport for ssd(hdd)?
If I can make that work I wont even have the needs for any USB in windows. What I will need is a third partition that I can use for both win7 and mint. I remember that I created a partition when I installed virtualbox. This is my way of getting rid of windows, updates, virusprotection, firewalls, and overall constant windows related problems. Since I will be using Win7 strictly without internet I must be able to transfer files between mint and windows. (Also I will never use any form of original full size windows. I guess that I can use my mint image on usb to do the partitions, but Im feeling a little blind. One for windows, one for linux and a third shared partition that I can use with both distros.

I want to install Windows7 for some microsoft software that I need. However my biggest concern as of right now is that I can't find the virtualbox on my system. Perhaps that's a secondary question, if virtualboxx86 is ment to be good for x86 older windows OS? OR do I need to find virtualbox 圆4? I do however see that all the virtualbox's are named X86 and I have an intel core i7 that I understand is made for X64 I Use menu, and look for it among applications and I search for it but theres nowhere to find any indications of Virtualbox being installed. The thing is I cant find it in my system. I've tried to install virtualbox in a numerous of ways, and both my software manager and my terminal tells me that virtual box is already installed.
